Skin needling treatments, also known as Facial Mesotherapy or Collagen Induction Therapy:

Fine lines and wrinkles may only need 1 procedure.

Because skin needling does not destroy the epidermis, but in fact improves skin texture and actually thickens the dermis, this treatment can be repeated many times. In comparison to prolonged recovery time from laser and chemical peels, a few days healing period is common. Each of these dermal injuries trigger this normal healing response and the successive treatments build new collagen progressively and fill in depressed scars and deep lines.

The procedure takes roughly an hour, depending on the size of the area to be treated. The area is dry tattooed (tattooed area without pigment), using a 5 slope needle. Immediately post treatment there may be some swelling and redness , similar to that of mild sunburn. The skin may develop a slight grazing over the treated area. Most clients are able to return to work within 48 hours after the procedure and multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve significant improvement in the appearance and depth of scar tissue. Treatment affects are accumulative and usually can be seen within 6-8 weeks of each treatment.
