The dark area around the nipple is called areola.

Some women are unhappy with the size or the color of their areola’s. Areola’s can be enlarged in size or darkened in color.

After breast reconstruction the areola can be missing and color needs to be re applied by way of inserting pigments into the skin. We usually try to match the color of the areola we are working on as closely as possible to the existing areola. To make the areola look more natural, glands spots can also be added. Further, if no nipple is present we can also create a three dimensional nipple.

All pigment colors used have been FDA approved for paramedical procedures.
